New UK casino sites and how to vet them

New casino brands appear in the UK every month, most of them white labels on an existing operator's licence. Here is how to check one before you join, and the brands most recently added to BetNook.

These four brands are the most recent additions to BetNook.

Six checks for any new UK casino

  1. Find the licence. Scroll to the footer for the operator name and Gambling Commission account number, then look it up on the public register.
  2. Match the domain. The register lists the web addresses each licence covers. The address in your browser should be one of them, marked as the operator's own or as a white label.
  3. Identify the platform. A new brand on a familiar operator's platform will usually share its cashier, games and terms with its sister sites.
  4. Read the bonus terms in full. Qualifying deposit, wagering, conversion cap, game rules and expiry. Anything above 10x wagering on a casino bonus should not appear on a UK-licensed site.
  5. Open the cashier. Look for withdrawal methods as well as deposit methods, and any stated processing time.
  6. Find the safer gambling tools. Deposit limits, reality checks, time-outs and self-exclusion must all be available.

What "new" usually means in the UK market

Most new brand names are white labels. The licence holder already exists and has passed the Commission's checks; the new part is the name, the theme and the welcome offer. That is why a site can look brand new and still show a licence granted years earlier.

Because the platform is shared, the useful comparison is between a new brand and its sisters on the same licence. Our UK ranking shows the operator for every listed site, and the licensing guide explains how to read a register entry.

Questions UK readers ask

Are new UK casino sites safe?

A new site is as safe as its licence and its terms. If the domain is listed on an active Gambling Commission licence, the same rules on age checks, fairness, safer gambling tools and GAMSTOP apply as at any established brand.

How do I know when a casino launched?

Often you cannot tell from the site itself. The register shows when a licence was granted, but a new brand can launch on an old licence as a white label. A licence date is not a brand launch date.

Do new casinos have better bonuses?

Not necessarily. Since January 2026 every UK casino bonus is limited to 10x wagering, so the differences are in the conversion caps, game rules and expiry. Compare the terms rather than the age of the site.

Which brands are newest to BetNook?

The four featured brands, AceLucky, BetNeptune, LekkerBets and AfricaSports, are the most recent additions, with brand facts as of 16 September 2026. That is when they joined our list, not necessarily when they launched.
